The Varina's 5 o'clock tea

The Guest was born from an artistic collaboration with the Storytailors. This tea pot pays tribute to one of most emblematic traditional figures of the city of Lisbon and of Portugal: The Varina. The pieces are made of fine stoneware, hand bathed in coloured translucent glazes and unglazed manually, according to the use of the rubber application technique tradition.

 

They are machine-washable and can be used in the microwave.

The 1st series of this special edition is limited to 250 copies for each character and integrated the exhibition - “Varinas of Lisbon”, at Museu de Lisboa – Pimenta Palace.
